IPvocate Africa is pleased to announce the appointment of our founder and director Marius Schneider to the INTA Anticounterfeiting Committee for the 2020-2021 term.
INTA is a global association of brand owners and professionals dedicated to supporting trade marks and related intellectual property. There are more than 7200 member organisations from 187 countries.
I look forward to enriching discussions on anticounterfeiting and enforcement issues and sharing my experience on the topic in Africa and Europe says Marius Schneider.
The Anticounterfeiting Committee is composed of INTA member volunteers that evaluate and monitor developments in treaties, legislations, regulations, procedures and other enforcement mechanisms with respect to anticounterfeiting and enforcement. The Anticounterfeiting Committe also advocates for policies to advance protection against counterfeiting and infringement and provides anticounterfeiting and enforcement education.
